We appreciate that the purchase of a kiln is an important investment. Considering that kiln firing is the only way to ensure the highest quality of metal when firing, it's an essential investment if you plan on selling your creations.

Do I need any accessories?

Not really, but we recommend adding Kiln Shelves. At least 1 will ensure protection of the kiln interior when firing Fine Silver "open shelf".

Add multiple shelves with posts if you plan on firing larger batches of creations at once.

Planning on firing Sterling .925 or base metals? Then yes, you will need:

• Coconut Carbon &
• Firing container (this no flake stainless steel foil REALLY saves on kiln cleaning!)
• Also think of getting the Caldera instead as the even temperature firing creates more success with base metal clays
